The Coastal Navigation course teaches you skills that ensure safe and successful navigation in coastal waters. A must for sailing along our coastal waters. The in classroom sessions take place weekly over a 7 week period (6.30 � 9.30 pm) as well as a one 4 hour on the water session ( Saturday or Sunday) and a written exam. On successful completion of the Coastal Navigation course you gain the confidence to safely navigate through challenging conditions, shallow waters, changing tides, and currents. Prerequisite: None but it is a prerequisite to the Advanced cruising Standard and for bareboat chartering Course fee $349.00 + tax
