Basic Sail (CYA) or Competent Crew (ISPA) cruise & learn course - 5 days

Learn to cruise in five days.  The course objective is to be able to cruise safely in familiar waters as both skipper and crew of a SAILING YACHT in moderate wind and sea conditions by day.

Course dates:

March 15 April 19 May 17 June 21     July 12  August 9  August 23  September 13  October 18

• Safety
• Docking
• Sail handling
• Emergency procedures
• Knots
• weather

  Preboard Sunday evening (4 pm) for a boat orientation and meeting with fellow students        Course begins on Monday at 9 am

    Course includes 6 nights accomodation with meals (Monday to Friday) aboard a yacht in the 34- 40 ft range whilst cruising  the scenic Gulf Islands.

 On successful completion of the course, students will earn CYA Basic Cruising Certification or ISPA Competent crew certification.

No prerequisite.
Course fee $1299.00 per person +tax
