 Do You Need a PCOC Card or to take the PCOC EXAM?

Effective September 15 2009 , Transport Canada requires that all operators of a pleasure craft fitted with a motor and used for recreational purposes are to have a proof of competency ( Pleasure Craft Operators Card (PCOC) /boaters card or equivalent ) on board at all times.

Nanaimo Yacht Charters Sailing School can help you obtain your PCOC card. You can drop by and challenge the PCOC exam at our Nanaimo Sailing School classroom.

Alternatively we offer courses in order to review the study material followed by writing the exam Course is approximately 2 hours and cost is $65 (excl tax)
