Our charter fleet consists of Yachts, sailboats and power boats ranging from 27'to 56'. Choose from brand name yachts such as Bavaria, Dufour, Beneteau, Catalina and Hunter sail boats and Westcoast and Bayliner Power boats. Yacht Management Team

Our yacht management team consists of people who have operated yacht charters around the world but have chosen to make our location in Nanaimo as their home simply because of the limitless sailing and cruising opportunities in the Vancouver Island area.  Through years of management experience in the boating industry we maintain your vessel in our care to the highest standard. Our Yacht Management program can also dramatically reduce the cost of owning or buying a new yacht by taking advantage of our charter management program offering 80% of charter revenue on all new boats chartered . In addition, we offer to our new boat owners:

Nanaimo Yacht Services, a subsidiary company of Nanaimo Yacht Charters & Sailing School will haul, bottom paint and replace all the zincs on your vessel for THE FIRST THREE YEARS THAT YOUR BOAT IS IN CHARTER WITH US.

Sailing School Vancouver Island BC

Learn to skipper or crew a sea going yacht, while sailing yachts among the beautiful Gulf Islands. Vancouver Island Sailing School offers Power and Sailing courses for individuals, couples or families and summer camps for teens and kids.

Our boating and yachting schools certification programs range from basic to advanced level including a Yachtmaster course that sails around Vancouver Island . We are a member of the Canadian Yachting Association School.

Nanaimo Yacht Services for Boat Repairs and Maintenance

Nanaimo Yacht Services a division of Nanaimo Yacht Charters specializes in boat repairs and maintenance to all pleasure crafts. We are based at Stone’s Marina with a well-equipped workshop and skilled technicians, who have many years of experience within the marine repair industry.

Whether it be routine boat maintenance, from detailing, painting and scraping to more complex repairs such as electrical or mechanical repairs involving outboard or inboard engine repair and transmission rebuilds, rewiring and installations - No job is too big or too small for our highly skilled team. We offer shaft & propeller repairs, winterization, hull polishing, repainting and bottom coating.

Our marine repair shop also has ; a skilled fiberglass repair department which carries out all forms of fiberglass work, an experienced and knowledgeable rigging team, and we are the only facility in the area to have a fully mobile fuel polishing system.

Nanaimo yacht service has a high speed chase boat that can render assistance at sea. In the boating season we are available 24 hours a day for emergency repairs.

Stones Boatyard and Boat Haul Out Services

Nanaimo Yacht Charters is pleased to announce the acquisition of Stones Boatyard located at Stones Marina in Nanaimo.

Stones Boatyards' 83 ton travel lift is the largest lift on central Vancouver island. Our Nanaimo boatyard is well placed position at the head of the Gulf Islands right alongside the Departure Bay to Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal, making it easily accessible.

Boat owners are welcome to work on their own boats and/or to employ outside contractors of their choosing. The boatyard can also provide recommendations for on-site and on-call service professionals to meet the varied requirements of boat or yacht owners. We also have qualified individuals available for hire in our yacht services division if required.
